Nørrebro

Nørrebro it’s neighbourhood  of Copenhagen traditionally working class area with a dynamic and multiethnic population; regeneration programmes and slum clearances, started in the 1970s, have led to changes in Nørrebro’s demography by making new social housing available and allowing for students and immigrant families to move into the area.

    It’s Copenhagen’s district with  the highest concentration of inmigrant population and declared by some fundamentalist parties as Sharia’s zone (Here lived and was shot down Omar Abdel Hamid El-Hussein author of the attacks of Copenhagen in 2015) and although many danes find it unsafe others consider it much more open and tolerant area than other districts of the Danish capital; even with the multiculturality of the neighbourhood the hipster zone and the fashionable shops Nørrebro is still labeled as ghetto despite the integrative efforts of the Danish authorities and the different social activist.

Nørrebro

Norrebro es el barrio multicultural y alternativo de Copenhague situado en la parte norcentral de la capital danesa. Tradicionalmente zona de clase obrera, los programas de integración y desarrollo iniciados en los años 70s han cambiado la cara y la demografía del barrio.

   Es el distrito con mayor concentración de inmigrantes y declarado ‘zona sharia’ por algunos grupos fundamentalistas ( aquí vivió y fué abatido por la policía Omar Abdel Hamid El-Hussein autor de los ataques de Copenhague en 2015) y aunque muchos daneses piensan que es un lugar poco seguro para otros es la zona mas abierta y tolerante de la capital. Con toda su multiculturalidad, su ambiente hipster y tiendas de moda en general sigue siendo etiquetado como un gueto a pesar de los esfuerzos de las autoridades y los activistas sociales.
