Fotografía vs. Hipocresía y viceversa / Photography vs. Hypocrisy and vice versa

Dijo alguien una vez que cuando se es pobre es increíble la cantidad de mierda que hay que escuchar sobre la pobreza sobretodo de gente que no lo es, de gente que como diría un españolito medio “vive de puta madre”. Pues con esto de las fotos en los medios pasa algo de lo mismo máxime cuando todo el mundo ‘hace’ fotos, razón suficiente para dar lecciones de deontología al gremio cada vez que en los medios aparece una imagen que según el criterio de cada quien es muy dura, visualmente poco agradable, incorrecta, etc.

Esto hace que todo el que tiene acceso a las redes sociales se sume casi por deporte o aburrimiento al debate a veces por inercia y a veces solo por joder. Cómo desperdiciar esa poderosa arma que tenemos en las manos y ‘aportar’ nuestra opinión sobre física cuántica, álgebra de Baldor o la cuadratura del círculo; da igual el tema, con suerte alguien que hace opinión o algún que otro tertuliano se hace eco de nuestro ‘tuit’ o le da por abrir una discusión y nos regala la gloria.

Si de lo que se trata es de emitir una opinión sobre algo que conocemos o de lo que medianamente estemos mejor informados el asunto es mas complicado y requiere abstraerse del ruido, dar o hacer referencias, juicios de valor con datos o bases que puedan ser contrastados y que otorguen credibilidad a nuestro argumento, uff!!, eso es muy complicado y cansino, incluso es posible que merezca rebuscar un poco por ahí así que pasamos.

Por eso no salgo de mi asombro con este hipócrita y doble discurso que tienen algunos (con frecuencia gente de nuestro entorno a quienes le tenemos cariño) de crucificar a los fotógrafos por hacer fotos -muy crudas dicen ellos- pero comparten esas mismas fotografías y vídeos desde sus teléfonos sin censura por supuesto y en sus redes; en los casos mas ridículos comparten fotos de gatitos como ‘protesta’ -tócate- por la publicación en los medios de las fotos, por ejemplo, del atentado de Barcelona. Le pedimos a profesionales que están precisamente para mostrarnos lo que pasa a diario en el mundo -dado que Jesucristo tiene la patente sobre la multiubicuidad- que no lo hagan o que sí pero un poquito edulcorado por favor mientras por la puerta trasera de nuestro móvil metemos y compartimos toda la mierda que nos llega, eso sí…nadie puede señalarnos, somos invisibles en el ciberespacio.

Que un fotógrafo de prensa elija un plano general (como en las imágenes de arriba) en vez de un plano detalle casi seguro obedece al hecho de resumir en una imagen un hecho noticioso y evitar el morbo sin sentido que ofrecen los detalles visuales de una tragedia como esta. Probablemente también existan esas fotos pero si no aportan nada no se publiquen y el fotógrafo quizás ni las pase, o sea nisiquiera le dé la oportunidad a su editor de moverlas, meterlas en un cajón o manipularlas en el peor de los casos. Por supuesto que hay fotógrafos, editores y medios que se dedican exclusivamente a sacar partido del morbo visual que puede producir un hecho trágico y en casos extremos dan lecciones de moralina cuando las imágenes no caen en sus manos y son publicadas por la competencia para por supuesto justificar su puesta en página amparándose en el interés general cuando la venta la hacen ellos.

En fin que nunca he entendido, NUNCA, como se puede, en nombre de los mejores propósitos para la humanidad, el desarrollo del hombre como especie y el manido interés general estar a favor de pixelar la cara de los niños europeos en fotos de tragedias y en contra cuando son africanitos pasando hambre porque ‘esa es la cara de la realidad’ o mandar al paredón a los medios y fotógrafos que publican imágenes de víctimas de atentados y a la vez compartir con mensajitos de texto incluídos esas mismas fotos desde móviles y ordenadores.
