La impresionante portada de Time ¡hecha con drones!

Ya es costumbre de las publicaciones anglosajonas especialmente las norteamericanas hacer gala de portadas espectaculares, creativas o sutilmente cargadas de metamensajes políticos o sociales y en ese sentido la revista Time es un referente. La nueva portada es de las que marcan referencias temporales; probablemente en unos años recordaremos “aquella portada que hizo Time con drones” cuando sea habitual el uso de estos robots voladores. El equipo de la revista junto a otros equipos técnicos se han plantado en Folsom, California con 958 drones y han “dibujado” en el cielo su famosa portada-marco y ha sido retratada por otro drone. Esta tiene una altura de 100 metros! por 400 pies de ancho, toda una monstruosidad y lo hace como homenaje a lo que llaman La Era del Dron convencidos del papel cada vez mas relevante que auguran tendrá en los años venideros. It is customary for the Anglo-Saxon publications, especially the North American, to make spectacular, creative or subtly loaded covers of political or social metamessages, and in that sense Time magazine is a reference. The new cover is of those that mark temporary references; probably in a few years we will remember “that cover that Time did with drones” when the use of these flying robots is habitual. The team of the magazine along with other technical teams have been planted in Folsom, California with 958 drones and have “drawn” in the sky its famous cover-frame and has been portrayed by another drone. This has a height of 100 meters! by 400 feet wide, a monstrosity and does so as a tribute to what they call The Drone Age, convinced of the increasingly relevant role that it augurs in the years to come.
